Renovations reflect changing industry

10 Sep, 2010 09:42 AM
A LEADING Bunbury communications retailer has undergone extensive renovations that reflect the exciting new age of interactivity and sophistication in the industry.

Total Telephone now has a modern design and fit out, more space and live displays of working handsets so customers can get a feel for the product.

Operations manager Fiona Grenfell said the renovated Telstra dealership reflected the personal experience which owning a mobile phone had become.

“It’s all built around the ultimate Telstra experience – looking after customers in a stress free setting with experienced staff,” she said.

The Spencer Street store is a privately owned, fully accredited Telstra partner which has been in Bunbury for 21 years.

They sell phones and communications solutions to everyday phone owners and businesses.

On live display in the store is the new generation of mobiles – including the iPhone4, Blackberry and HTC Desire – which are basically customisable handheld computers.

“People can touch and feel and have a play and they fall in love with the phone that’s right for them,” Ms Grenfell said.

There are experienced staff at the store who know all the products and plans, essential for people to find what is best for their circumstances.

“There are so many products, phones and applications it can be mind boggling,” Ms Grenfell said.

“As sophistication has come into handsets – the level of understanding of plans and product knowledge to help find something suitable has also increased.”

Its business team also visit clients to help improve communications as the client’s company grows.

One of the latest range of devices include the T-Hub which is quickly becoming the family home organiser that can be the electronic notice board, play music and go online to find recipes to name but a few applications.
