Thirty years celebrated

09 Dec, 2011 09:06 AM
DEDICATED worker Dianne Allen recently celebrated 30 years with business Klen International.

Ms Allen began at Klen International not long after it first opened the doors on Burke Street in Bunbury.

Now at Halifax Drive, Ms Allen is an integral part of the team as retail manager.

"People come back and repeat business because she goes the extra mile," said branch manager Sharon Johnston.

Ms Johnston said she was impressed with Ms Allen’s loyalty.

"You just don’t get people like Di anymore," she said.

Ms Allen said she still has the same customers from when she first started at the company.

One memory that springs to mind for Ms Allen was when the company was still small and Worsley had opened in Collie.

"We had a semi-trailer full of cleaning products for them and it was amazing to see a small business help out a huge company," she said.

Co-worker Carol Wilson has been with the company for five years and said she is always learning something from Ms Allen.

"She is a wealth of knowledge, if you ever want to know anything you ask Di."
