A 21-year-old Capel man was sitting in the front passenger seat and was left with a broken pelvis and bruising to the lungs.
He was flown to Royal Perth Hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
Bunbury police are investigating the incident and believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
