Bunbury's rental squeeze

17 Apr, 2009 12:21 PM
THE rental market in Greater Bunbury has tightened by almost two per cent in three months to 1.3 per cent.

Late last year the vacancy rate was 3.1 per cent.

The tight vacancy rate has also pushed rents up by almost 4 per cent, to an average of $290 per week.

By comparison the Perth rental vacancy rate was three per cent, Mandurah four per cent, Geraldton 3.2 per cent and Kalgoorlie 5.5 per cent.

This makes Greater Bunbury one of the tightest rental markets in WA.
