THE South West has a mystery millionaire.
A $1 million dollar ticket sold at Eaton Fair’s Lottery Centre has yet to be claimed.
The winning ticket was one of four winners from the weekend’s $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.
While the winner remains a mystery, Eaton Fair Lottery Centre owner Dave Rodgers said the news was incredible.
“It’s very satisfying to play a part in changing someone’s life,” Mr Rodgers said.
“It’s why you do it.”
The ticket was Mr Rodgers’ sixth major prize-winning ticket in the past 16 years.
“It certainly generates a frenzy of people checking their tickets,” Mr Rodgers said.
The winning ticket brings the number of WA lotto winners to 42 and the ninth regional success for the year.
Lotterywest communications coordinator Pina Compagnone said the ticket proved the South West was a lucky area.
“We’ve seen quite a few winners from all around the South West in areas such as Collie, Margaret River and now Eaton,” Mrs Compagnone said.
The lucky winner has 12 months to claim the $1 million dollar prize.
