THE promise of shirtless celebrities and non-stop entertainment had the Bunbury Forum packed to the rafters for Telethon on the weekend.
The event raised $50,453 and about 10,000 to 15,000 people flooded into the Forum to enjoy the exhibitions and talent on display, but the much anticipated arrival of Packed to the Rafters celebrities really got the crowd buzzing.
Hugh Sheridan and George Houvardas were the major drawcards for the day and anyone who had tuned into Telethon at the Perth Convention Centre on Saturday night was hoping the boys would stage a repeat performance of their shirtless antics.
One very lucky woman was the winner of Hot FM’s Star for a Day competition and got up close and personal with the stars.
Mel Gordon from Dunsborough and her close friend Lucy Fairbotham travelled in a limousine to the Bunbury airport to pick up the boys.
Mrs Gordon said Hugh and George had her in stitches on the ride back to the Forum and they continued their humorous antics on arrival in Bunbury.
Cash donations poured in from the crowd to encourage the boys to lose some clothing and they happily obliged, strutting shirtless up and down the stage.
