Learning on iPads in Bunbury schools

08 Feb, 2012 08:54 AM
STUDENTS at Parkfield Primary School will be learning on the most modern technology when they receive new iPads later this term.

The school was nominated by the State Government’s education department to receive the iPads for their consistent improvements in numeracy and literacy.

Principal Charlie Ser-ravite said the school was excited for the opportunities the iPads will give to the students.

“Instead of always catching up we will be at pace with modern learning and technology.”

The school will receive 48 iPads for the Year 1 and 2 classes.

The Early Childhood iPad Initiative will provide nearly 900 iPads for Year 1 and 2 classes in 17 schools throughout the state.
