New maternity technology

28 Jul, 2010 09:15 AM
BABIES and pregnant women in Bunbury and the South West will benefit from a new ultrasound machine made possible by a Telethon donation.

WA Country Health Service – South West nurse director Marianne Slattery said the latest high-tech ultrasound machines provide faster and clearer images.

“These machines allow more mothers, babies and children to be treated closer to home and ensure any concerns are identified early by clinical staff,” said Ms Slattery.
