BUNBURY’S BMX star Lauren Reynolds has yet another accolade to add to her collection.

The 17-year-old has been selected for this year’s nation-wide BMX High Performance Program Elite Development Squad.

She will join a team of five talented young riders each with their sights set on the London 2012 Olympics.

“To be selected is an awesome honour,” Lauren said.

“It gives me the best possible opportunity for London 2012 – and that’s my ultimate goal.”

Prior to her selection, Lauren has enjoyed placing second at world championships and first on the Australian stage.

She aims to take out gold at the national championships in July.

Lauren has been training on the Gold Coast with the squad since January 1.
