JUSTIN Warren has really been turning heads in the taekwondo world with a string of achievements over the last 12 months.

The Taekwondo Central instructor was the coach of an 18 member State Championships team which returned with 12 gold and six silver medals.

Just after the State Championships Warren headed an eight member Australian Championships team which returned from Sydney with five gold medals and three silver medals, the best result from any South West team.

To add to that, Warren received an Australian Sports Medal endorsed by the Queen, the Prime Minister and the Governor of Australia.

Warren also achieved his Third Dan Blackbelt under his instructor Shin Boo Kim.

More recently, Warren was selected in the Australian team.

With training partner Geoff Kelly, Warren will travel to Japan to fight in the East Asian Games in mid-May.

“It is a great honour to fight for my country,” Warren said.

“I just want to show my students that if you really believe in yourself you can achieve anything,” he said.

“Only you set your limits.”
