MARTIAL ARTS: Taekwondo Central recorded its best competition results since starting in 1999, with 15 club members taking home 19 medals from the Perth Taekwondo Open.
The tournament contested sparring, patterns and a flying side kick competition, with about 250 competitors from all over the State.
Taekwondo Central won 14 gold, three silver and two bronze, and came second overall in the gold medal team tally against larger Perth clubs.
