Bunbury Little Athletics Club came home with a swag of medals after the state championships recently.
Sixty-six athletes went to the championships on March 17 in Perth.
The club won 48 medals in total and eight were named state champs.
After the event two boys and one girl will now go to the national championships next week.
Championship officer Helen Rogers said it was a great effort for the Club and the athletes that competed against 31 other clubs from the state.
Among the winners were Ty Sears, Jak Watson, Chelsea Kelly, Brooke Rogers and Kyle Mastranglo.
Ty Sears won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the event.
It was Jak Watson’s first time at the championships and he won two gold medals.
Chelsea Kelly and Brooke Rogers both won one gold and one silver.
Kyle Mastranglo won one gold and three bronze medals.
