BUNBURY starlet Courtney Eaton has leapt back into the national spotlight, having finished filming the next Hollywood addition to the Mad Max franchise, Fury Road.
The model-turned-actress has stepped back into her modelling shoes to shoot a campaign for high profile bikini line Tigerlily in the Maldives this month.
She has also recently starred in campaigns for Mavi Jeans and Forever New.
The Bunbury Mail revealed that the 17-year-old had taken the blockbuster movie role in August last year.
The former Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School student starred alongside Hollywood superstars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.
Proud dad Stephen Eaton told the Bunbury Mail it was an amazing experience for his daughter.
“Little did I believe that when I first watched Mad Max in my late teens that my daughter would have a significant role in a Mad Max movie, unbelievable,” Mr Eaton said.
“Actually it was quite funny as Courtney had not heard of Mad Max before and asked me what it was when she was first asked to cast for the role, I told her it as an iconic Australian movie.”
Bunbury’s Classique Model Management part-owner Tamara Dimov said there was something special about Courtney when she started modelling at 11 years of age.
Miss Eaton plans to relocate to Los Angeles in the near future.
The movie is expected to be released this year.
