THE Olympics has only just started but last week a world record was broken by Bunbury women in London.
London-based Aust-ralians were invited along with Common-wealth Bank and Guinness World Records to break the record of the most people wearing the same full team kit (outfit).
The last record was set by Switzerland with 537 people.
Bunbury woman Amy Fowler said she heard about the event by word of mouth.
“We rallied our fellow Aussie friends together and joined in the attempt,” Miss Fowler said.
“When we arrived, there were so many people and we had to sneak in line to even be considered in the final 1000.
Miss Fowler along with many other Aussies then enjoyed a sausage sizzle and a lamington or pavlova.
