A 28-year-old Meadow Springs man will undergo surgery at Royal Perth Hospital after he was hit with a broken beer bottle in a brawl in Perth's CBD.
It is believed the incident occurred on William Street in Perth about 3.25am today after the man became embroiled in a dispute with a group of men.
Police spokeswoman Ros Weatherall said the victim received a large gash to the neck after being struck with a broken beer bottle.
His injuries are not life-threatening.
Ms Weatherall said three men had been taken into police custody, and were assisting with their inquiries.
No charges have been laid.
