AN INTRUDER who collapsed during a robbery in Adelaide's south last week has died in hospital.
The 36-year-old Reynella man was rushed to Flinders Medical Centre last Thursday in a critical condition.
He was discovered inside a house on Sugarbush Road in Reynella about 2am and collapsed during a confrontation with the homeowner.
He died this morning.
Police had performed CPR while waiting for paramedics to arrive.
A spokesman for South Australia police said it was unlikely the homeowner would face charges.
"Not at this stage. The matter has been referred to the Coroner and an autopsy will be performed," he said.
