WRESTLING: New Horizon Pro Wrestling returns to Bunbury with a show featuring some of the best talent from Australia and the world.
The up close and personal sport has been running since 2006 and has bought some of the biggest known wrestling talents to WA.
The show at the South West Italian Club on May 17 will be the homecoming for Australind wrestler Jagger Stevens.
The 20-year-old is new to the sport but shows plenty of promise.
Event coordinator Karene Ferguson said Stevens always made an extra effort when he comes home for matches in Bunbury.
“He is an all-rounder in the ring which can mean anything from high flying to brawling to making someone tap out to various submissions,” Ferguson said.
“Jagger shows so much promise for the future of the sport and it will be interesting to see what is ahead for this young up and comer.”
Ferguson said the wrestlers on tour love making the trip to Bunbury.
“The last time we were here was an absolute pleasure and we look forward to entertaining our supporters in Bunbury,” she said.
The show starts at 7pm with tickets available at the door or online at nhpw.com.au
Australind’s own Jagger Stevens is a newcomer with plenty of promise.
Stevens works the ring and is a former title holder of the New Horizon Pro Wrestling Hybrid championships.
He is also in a tag team with Hayden Zenith and promises to bring the pain.
Steven’s favourite moves include the standing moonsault and a running kick off the ropes he likes to call his ‘sick kick.’

Not as nice as her name suggests, ‘Sweet’ Saraya Knight resides in Norwich England where she is part of the Legendary Knight Dynasty.
Knight has won championships on four different continents and is currently the New Horizon Pro Wrestling Indygurlz champion where she blitzed the two best female wrestlers from Australia.
With 23 years experience she is hard to beat and very unpredictable.
She has a vast knowledge of every trick in the book and does whatever it takes to win.
Chris Vice came from humble beginnings as a Gosnells local but is the current New Horizon Pro Wrestling “Art of Fighting” Heavyweight Champion.
Vice is six feet of solid muscle and has speed and agility to boot.
He overpowers his opponents with brute strength and by the end of the match the opponent is too tired to avoid his favourite move – the Tombstone Piledriver.
The fans draw to Vice as he is a powerful fighter but is also humble when it comes to fans because at the end of the day the fans are what drives him to his victories.
Mercedes Martinez currently resides in Florida but was raised in New York.
The Puerto Rican beauty has faced many of the world’s best wrestlers and worked in every major federation.
While just 170 centimetres tall she hits her opponents with so much fire and aggression that they don’t want to come back for a second dose.
After this tour she will be taking a hiatus which means this will be the last chance to see her.
