MORE than 2000 people flooded into Bunbury's CBD to pay their respects at the Anzac Day Dawn Service from 6am this morning.
The crowd gathered at the Bunbury War Memorial on the corner of Victoria Street and Stirling Street, waiting to watch war veterans and their families march from the RSL.
The New Zealand national anthem was sung alongside Advance Australia Fair.
Bunbury's Men of Song performed a stirring rendition of Band of Brothers as well as the anthems.
Naval Captain Darron Kavanagh was the guest of honour at the service and led the parade.
The dawn service is followed by an Anzac Day parade from 10.45am, which starts at the RSL and travels to the Graham Bricknell Music Shell.
A service begins at the shell from 11am and the march returns to the RSL at 12noon.
