A B-DOUBLE truck has been left dangling after crashing into the railing on the Preston River bridge on Estuary Drive this morning.
Police, firefighters and HTT Towing are working to remove the truck and clear the roadway, which has been blocked by the crash.
There is a small concern that diesel might be leaking into the river but it is understood firefighters are working to contain the problem with floating booms.
South West Traffic officer in charge Sergeant Rob Malcolm told the Bunbury Mail that no one was injured but to avoid the area until the truck is removed.
“If people can avoid the area until then and use the Forrest Highway instead until it's clear,” Sergeant Malcolm said.
Fire crews told the Bunbury Mail that they will be draining the fuel from the truck and using two-trucks to pull the truck back up onto the road which may take several hours.
Police will investigate the cause of the crash.
