Moora business owner Julie Walsh, who co-owns Topp Dogg in Moora with her husband Paul Walsh, was violently assaulted by a 15-year-old teenage girl and her 19-year-old boyfriend on Wednesday morning.
It is understood a dispute broke out in the clothing store after Mrs Walsh accused the teenage girl of wearing a jacket that had previously been stolen from the store.
The teenage girl pushed the woman to the ground and punched her several times.
Mrs Walsh, who is in her early 50s, was taken to Midland for scans with a suspected broken jaw and broken ribs.
Mr Walsh was also assaulted when he tried to help his wife.
His injuries are not considered serious.
Moora Police are investigating the incident and have described the CCTV footage as 'quite disturbing.
Officers have not located the girl and her boyfriend, both known to police, and who were in hiding yesterday.
The teenagers were known to Mr and Mrs Walsh and their two staff members and they were able to give names to Police.
CCTV footage easily identifies the attackers.
Policy today have arrested the female who has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and common assault and the male charged with common assault.
Both have been released to bail under strict conditions and ordered not to go anywhere near the shop or the victims.
They will appear in the Moora Magistrates Court on August 6.
