MEMBERS of Bunbury’s University of the Third Age group were treated to a visit from police constable Jake Carruthers and police dog Geoffrey.
Group member Joan Birkett said the group were pleased to have the pair visit.
“Geoffrey is a beautiful big dark Alsatian who behaved impeccably under our scrutiny,” she said.
“It was a real privilege to be given a glimpse of how this police team works.”
After the meeting the group cut a cake to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
The University of the Third Age is open to anyone over 50 years old who is interested in learning without exams.
The next meeting will be held on September 12 with more information available from 9721 1317.
