A Camillo man will face court on Sunday after he fell into a pool while allegedly trying to evade police in Bentley on Saturday night.
Police were called to the rear car park of a pharmacy on the corner of Chapman Road and Victoria Street with a report of two men acting suspiciously next to a vehicle, police spokesman Sam Dinnison said.
Officers were talking to the two men when one allegedly attempted to flee, jumping a nearby fence.
On the other side of the fence was a swimming pool, and the man fell through the pool cover and into the water.
He climbed out of the pool and allegedly jumped another fence and hid behind a car, where he was found by police and arrested.
Police will allege he was in possession of methamphetamines and $1250 in cash.
He was refused bail and will face Northbridge Magistrates Court on Sunday.
