TO celebrate the Fremantle Football Club's 2014 finals appearance, the team at RadioWest have immortalised captain Matthew Pavlich in a unique way.
With the help of the team at the Cheesecake Shop in the Homemaker Centre, a 1.92 metre long Matthew Pavlich pavlova - the 'Pav Pav' was created.
Weighing in at 50 kilograms the 'Pav Pav' required 12 kilograms of sugar and six kilograms of egg whites with five hours to cook and close to three hours to assemble.
One-eyed Fremantle supporter and Radiowest presenter Cliff Reeve could not wipe the smile off his face as he unveiled the marvel.
After it was displayed on Friday morning, the team cut it up for on-lookers before donating pieces to local businesses and the Intown Lunch Centre.
Congratulations to Frank Sacca and the staff at the Cheesecake Shop - it sure tasted good!
Meanwhile the team from Hot FM have also got into the football spirit by visiting schools to help send a message of support to the Dockers.
Students from Eaton Community College, Bunbury Senior High School, Ocean Forest Lutheran College and Dardanup Primary School donned purple clothing and with the help of an aerial drone, spelt out the message 'Go Freo Love WA'.
