The driver of a Holden Commodore was killed instantly on Tuesday when he lost control of his car in Highbury.
The 28-year-old man was driving north along Scott Road when he lost control of the vehicle about 4.20pm, police spokeswoman Susan Usher said.
The car crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided head-on with an Isuzu truck carrying cattle. The driver of the Commodore was killed instantly.
The truck driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries and shock.
