BUNBURY businesswoman Rosalind Hobson has been named as a finalist in Telstra’s Young Business Women’s Award.
Starting with Cristal Pigment Australia as a graduate engineer in 2004 but soon found she enjoyed the faster pace of production engineering.
Last year she became the first female production superintendent at the Bunbury site.
“I know that spending time to inspire others to follow my lead helps drive the team to succeed,” she said.
“I approach my tasks with enthusiasm and I’ve found that my positive attitude is infectious.”
Having just achieved a record monthly production, five per cent about previous best, her goal is to increase plant production by 15 per cent.
