A battle between two sides that imitate their league teams, this game promises to be a fast moving and skilled clash of young talent.
Busselton took out the minor premiership in the colts with a 13-3 record, but Bunbury was hot on their heels all year finishing second with a 12-4 slate.
Both sides will look to their star talent in this game to get them over the line.
Busselton will lean on the services provided by Jarrad Adamson who took out the Fairfax Media Medal as the number one Colts player this season.
Jedd Brennan and Jake Dugan should also provide some dash around the ground for Busselton.
Bunbury will look to players such as Brandon Wallam and Jye Graham to keep pace with the fast moving Busselton attack.
Robert Hislop should also provide a strong presence for the Bulldogs.
Perhaps the biggest worry for the Magpies becomes stopping Bunbury goal kicker Connor Mahony.
Mahony finished with more than 60 majors for the season and is always a headache for opposing sides.
But to get the ball to him, Bunbury needs to overcome Busselton’s midfield.
Busselton always seem to have a strong physical presence in their midfield and those big bodies could out-muscle Bunbury all day.
It’s shaping as perhaps the most interesting contest of the day, with both sides looking evenly matched in terms of talent.
It’s hard to give an edge to either side, but I’m tipping Bunbury to upset the Magpies and come away with an extremely narrow win.
Prediction: Bunbury by 2 points.
As opposed to the Colts game, this one does not seem to be shaping up as such a tight contest.
Looking at the teams on paper and their performances as a whole this season, Carey Park will start this game as hot favourites.
The Panthers finished the year with a 17-1 record and have won their past 15 matches heading into the grand final.
Throughout the season Carey Park has acquired a handful of talented players that slotted into the side perfectly.
Many of Carey Park’s players have the talent to be playing regular league football.
Chris McMillan, Sheldon Picket, and Liam Stewart make up just part of a talented running brigade that South Bunbury will need to slow down.
Up forward, Glen Garlett was a force in the home-and-away season finishing with a stunning 94 goals, while Luke Mott hasn’t been shy of kicking bags either.
Dylan Garlett and Corey Stidworthy are also dangerous as switching small forwards.
In the back half Sam Browne and Andrew Rake lead a strict defence.
But remember, this is a grand final and the script isn't written until after the game.
Nothing is set in stone and South Bunbury’s form in recent weeks has been outstanding.
The Tigers pulled off two spectacular consecutive upsets beating reserves heavyweights Eaton and Busselton to storm into a grand final appearance.
The question now becomes - can South Bunbury pull off the hatrick?
Although defeating Carey Park is a whole different ball game, South Bunbury’s confidence must be sky high.
However their chances hinge on whether certain players will be available or not.
Josh Ryder, Guy Piggott and Brady London would all be welcome names, but all could also be in contention for an appearance in South Bunbury’s league side.
But South Bunbury still boasts a handful of players who have been consistent throughout 2014.
Ashley Taylor, Alex Wells, Cody Whitfield and Fraser Lammie have all been productive for the Tigers.
Kale Francis has been terrific in the South Bunbury forward line booting 49 goals throughout the regular season.
Key factors like form and personnel tell us Carey Park wins this match which is why I’m going to tip them.
But this is a grand final and everything goes out the window when that ball is bounced.
Prediction: Carey Park by 25 points.
