FUN RUN: Poor weather was not enough to stop a group of dedicated athletes from joining the Hot FM Surf to Surf Fun Run on Sunday.
More than 1000 people competed across the 10 kilometre run, the five kilometre run and the five kilometre walk.
In the 10 kilometre event Francisco Sanzana was the first man across the line in a time of 31.12 while in seventh overall was the first female competitor Liana Annison in 38.21.
Some well-known Bunbury athletes starred in the five kilometre run.
Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Ryan Bailie was first across the line in a blistering time of 15.12 with triathlete Chris Owens second and paralympian Brad Scott third.
Carolyn Boosey was the fastest woman in 18.39.
In the five kilometre walk, over 50 competitors Garry Hastie, Echo Stretch and Richard Stretch upset their younger rivals to fill out the first three places.
