A security guard was beaten to the ground by a gang of teenagers in Kelmscott on Friday afternoon.
The attack happened when the 40-year-old guard tried to remove a group of youths from the Kelmscott Village Shopping Centre.
The teenagers turned on the guard knocking him to the ground. The attack only stopped after several members of the public stepped in to rescue the guard.
He was taken to hospital with facial injuries.
Two 16-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy have been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
