A man was seriously injured when his ute crashed and split in two near Kellerberrin on Saturday morning.
Police were called to the scene on the Great Eastern Highway near Bungulla around 3.20 am.
Officers say it appears the Holden Colorado was travelling south on Bungulla North Road when it veered off the road and became airborne before landing on the highway.
It rolled several times and split in half. The driver was trapped in the cabin.
Police, fire and ambulance crews went to the scene and freed the 25-year-old man who was flown 200km to Perth by the RAC Rescue Helicopter.
