STAND UP PADDLE: Outrigger canoes and stand up paddlers could be seen dashing across the Leschenault Inlet on Sunday as the Bunbury Wavemasters held their monthly time trial.
Paddlers chose to complete one or two loops of the 2.5km course with the winner being decided on who is closest to their nominated time.
Despite a moderate easterly breeze, losses in the upwind leg were soon made up on the downwind leg and most recorded times not far off their personal bests.
The next stand up paddle event will be the Tallwood Constructions Battle of the Blade on Saturday, January 31.
