VOLLEYBALL: The state’s best beach volleyball players took to the sand at Koombana Beach in Bunbury on the weekend for the Alcohol. Think Again beach volleyball tour.
The weekend was filled with competitive matches throughout the four divisions with the winners being named after the finals played on Sunday.
Sam Kingston and Ryan Kennedy took out the men’s elite division title with a win over Jonathon Hague and Ryan Turner while Carrie-Anne Cairns and Tara Banks took out a victory over Melissa Kennedy and Michelle Perisic.
In the men’s competitive, Mauro Vennitti and Robert Lislois overcame Robert Kinninmont and Gary Lee in two sets.
Jessie-Lee Benson and Samantha Mann tasted success in the women’s competitive with a two set win over Eloise Chen and Mona Cord-Ruwisch.
The tour will now move on to Scarborough with WA Open being played next week.
