A man is being treated in hospital for head injuries after he was king hit outside a Victoria Park nightclub in the early hours of Saturday.
Police say a number of men were ejected from the club on Albany Highway around midnight, and a short time later one of the men ran up to another man and punched him in the face.
The victim, who is in his 20s, fell to the ground and hit his head on the pavement.
He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital.
Police have asked for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
