A TOTAL fire ban has been issued across Greater Bunbury as well as parts of the South West and lower South West for Tuesday, February 10.
The ban includes the local government districts of the City of Bunbury and shires of Capel, Dardanup and Harvey.
It also includes the City of Busselton and the shires of Collie, Murray, Waroona, Augusta-Margaret River, Boyup Brook, Bridgetown-Greenbushes, Donnybrook-Balingup, Manjimup and Nannup.
Any activity that could start a fire is banned, which means you must not light or use any fires in the open air.
All open fires for the purpose of cooking or camping are not allowed.
Hot work such as metal work, grinding, welding, soldering, gas cutting or similar is not allowed unless you have an exemption.
If a harvest and vehicle movement ban has not been implemented by your local government you are able to harvest or move vehicles across paddocks for agricultural purposes.
Breaking the ban could see residents fined up to $25,000 or jailed for 12 months, or both.
