AUSTRALIND Shopping Centre has been ram-raided and a quantity of jewellery has been stolen overnight.
South West Detectives officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Dom Blackshaw said a four-wheel drive vehicle was driven into the side entrance of the centre at 3.15am this morning.
Four offenders smashed their way into Australind Jewellers and stole a quantity of jewellery.
They left in the same vehicle, which is described as a 1997 to 1999 red or maroon two-tone Mitsubishi Pajero with spotlights and an aluminium bull bar.
Detectives are using CCTV footage from the store in their hunt for the offenders.
It is believed the offenders were three men and a woman but this has not been confirmed.
Local residents have shown their support for long-time Australind Jewellers owners Greg and Diana Gel on social media, who were previously targeted by thieves in 2009.
Police are urging anyone with information about this crime to come forward to South West Detectives on 97 22 2009 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
