A 28-year-old man has been arrested by police after allegedly clocking up speeds up to 140km/h in a high-speed chase on Monday night.
Police were travelling along Redunca Way in Mirrabooka when, just after 7.20pm on Monday, they spotted an allegedly stolen silver Camry.
Police spokesperson Adam Brouwer said when police tried to pull the car over, the driver sped off through the streets of Mirrabooka, Dianella and Inglewood, allegedly clocking speeds up to 140km/h and at times driving on the wrong side of the road.

Police say they arrested the man as he was trying to climb onto the roof of a shed.
A 28-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with a string of offences, including burglary, two counts of stealing and possession of methamphetamine.
He was due to appear in Perth's Magistrate's Court on March 31.
Police are continuing their inquires into a 14-year-old boy who was a passenger in the car.
