CONCERT: The team at Barbados Lounge Bar are pumped for the Easter long weekend and want to invite the community to celebrate with them.
The venue will take on a Mexican vibe on Thursday night when it hosts Sydney three-piece fiesta party band Kallidad – and guests can join the party for free.
Fans usually pay at least $25 to see this band live but Barbados is taking one for the team and wearing the door cost to give the community an early Easter present.
From humble roots as a busking act, the group has toured Australia relentlessly, and performed in Belgium, Holland, Germany, Spain, France, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
Kallidad have shared stages with acts such as Ed Sheeran, Mickey Avalon, Tijuana Cartel, The Preatures, Flight Facilities and Master's Apprentices, so it is guaranteed to be a great night.
Barbados will also whip up some tacos, nachos and fiery pizzas in the spirit of the fiesta night.
