A truck driver had to be taken to hospital after his truck left the road and ploughed into a ditch on Thursday.
A 65-YEAR-OLD truck driver from Australind was lucky to escape relatively unscathed after his truck ploughed into a ditch on the South Western Highway this morning.
The man was driving in Picton about 11.30am when his truck left the road and almost rolled onto its side.
Police are investigating whether a blown tyre or another vehicle fault caused the crash.
The driver was transported by ambulance to Bunbury Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
No other vehicles were impacted by the crash.
