Australian engineering company Calibre Consulting acquired the South West's leading town planning and civil engineering specialists, Town Planning Management Engineering.
The acquisition of TME adds an established urban development arm to the Western Australian operations of Calibre Consulting.
TME Managing Director Wayne Edgeloe will head up Calibre Consulting's WA Urban Development arm as WA Group Manager and all 25 TME staff will remain with the business.
"TME and Calibre Consulting are investing in the region by establishing a platform for growth and bringing together the experience and knowledge of two long-standing, respected companies," Mr Edgeloe said.
"Calibre has gained TME's urban development and infrastructure capabilities in WA, and together we have the resources and expertise to offer clients across the South West and Western Australia a comprehensive and technologically advanced range of services and development solutions."
Mr Edgeloe said this merger has allowed Calibre Consulting to be in a position to see the business grow in the South West and meet the demands of one of the fastest growing populations in Australia.
They have many specialists areas including town planning, structural, civil and water management consulting engineering, with offices across the Asia Pacific Region.
