HUNDREDS of people turned up to support the Cancer Council WA at the William Barrett and Sons Australia's Biggest Morning Tea event on Thursday, May 28.
Celebrating it's 22nd year, the annual event aimed to add to the total of $213,000 raised by the funeral home in the past 21 years.
Event organiser Joscelyn Jones said the success of the event in the past was due to the support of our generous community whether that be volunteering, donating goods or attending on the day.
“This is a special event where people of all ages can come together for this incredible important cause,” she said.
“It has always been a community-driven event and it’s shaping up to continue that way this year.”
The day's entertainment was performed by South Bunbury Primary School Ripper Skippers and Choir, Bunbury City Band, Picton Primary School Boot Scooters and Choir, Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School Steel Band, Dalyellup Primary Schools Circus Troupe and the Newton Moore Primary School Jazz Band.
