TWO lives were lost on WA roads on Thursday.
About 2.45pm, a KTM off road motorcycle was travelling along gravel track in the Yoganup area.
The motorcycle struck a rock causing the rider to lose control and collide with a tree.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 29-year-old East Bunbury man died at the scene due to injuries he received in the crash.
Then about 6.10pm, a Holden Commodore sedan was travelling east on Graphite Road near Paganini Road in Glenoran.
The driver failed to negotiate a bend and went onto the gravel shoulder.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree.
The 33-year-old female driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
The deaths take the states road toll for the year to date to nearly 70.
Drivers are urged to take extra care today, the last Friday of May, where the Australian Road Safety Foundation hosts their annual community road safety day, Fatality Free Friday.
