WA is gearing up for a very busy WA Day with events planned all over the state for Monday.
Celebrate WA CEO, Patria Jafferies, said that that with 330 events happening there will be something for everyone.
"We want everyone to take the opportunity to relax and enjoy our unique public holiday in their own special way," she said.
If learning circus skills is your thing then the Perth Cultural Centre is the place to be. Or if that sounds too busy take a seat and enjoy the movie Paper Planes on the big screen or take part in the Silent Disco!
The Perth Scorchers will be around offering to test your cricket skills or you could go to the state theatre centre where you can say Hello to the Gruffalo and race around in pedal cars.
There will be real paper planes to be made and thrown at Scitech and Forrest Place will have more children's activities.
If you live in or around Wilson you should make your way to the Kent Street Weir for a day of great food, train rides and entertainment.
In other parts of the state a group of adventurers are taking part int he Red Dog Relay over the weekend and finishing on Monday. Teams are running, driving, cycling, swimming and paddling around the Pilbara covering nearly 400km and camping overnight at the beautiful Millstream-Chichester National Park, south east of Karratha.
In the South-West you can enjoy Jazz by the Bay at a variety of venues in Dunsborough and surrounding areas.
WA Day events are planned for various reginal centres of the WA Museum. In Kalgoorlie the action starts at 9.30am and goes on all day. One of the main features will be the inaugral Golden Bone Dog Show at 1.00pm. Pooches in fancy dress are very much encouraged.
Similar funs and games are promised at the WA Museums in Albany and Geraldton.
