South West Football League names Landmark colts side

The Bunbury Bulldogs make up almost a third of the 30-man side, with eight players being selected.

Top of the ladder colts side Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault also made up a large fraction of the squad with six representatives, while Busselton follows closely with five.

Carey Park and South Bunbury have each had three players chosen to play at the carnival while Harvey (two players), Augusta-Margaret River (two) and Collie Eagles (one) will all contribute to selection.

The South West last won the colts division in 2013, when Brandon Jetta, Brayden Prentice and Brayden Mann put in terrific performances in a crushing 7.7.49 to 1.1.7 victory over the Peel Football League.

But last year the colts were dealt a seven-point loss by Peel after going undefeated before the grand final.

Brett Maguire will coach the side this season, taking over from Ryan Pitts who coached the previous two years.

The first game for the colts will take place on Thursday, July 9 at Bendigo Bank Stadium against Regional Districts.
