A Fremantle Dockers tragic is so confident Fremantle will make this year's grand final he has already chartered a 80-seater jet for the trip to Melbourne and says the flight is booked out.
Scott Bruce said he scrambled to charter a jet two years ago when the Dockers made their first grand final against Hawthorn, but the experience left him exhausted.
This time around he decided to book a Cobham Aviation jet two months before the grand final to avoid the stress.
"When I did it two years ago, I did it a week before the grand final and it was hard work getting a jet and collecting the money off people," he said.
"But I still managed to do it just through friends and we got an 82-seat jet."
The Attadale resident said he managed to sell out the plane to this year's grand final in a matter of weeks to friends and family. The 43-year-old said he also had a bunch of Dockers' fan on a waiting list.
Mr Bruce said each passenger had to pay a $100 non-refundable deposit towards the $1300 return flight, which includes a free meal and booze.
He didn't think it was risky booking the plane weeks out from the grand final.
"The Dockers were on top of the ladder and playing good footy, so why not," he said.

Bruce said if the Dockers did make the big dance, it needed to play better than its recent current form to hold aloft the premiership cup.
"I think Ross [Lyon] has got them geared up for it," he said.
"He has rested players this week, so I reckon he knows what he's doing. But they are going to have to play better to beat the Hawks or Sydney."
Mr Bruce said has also been getting badgered from Eagles supporters asking him for a seat on the plane or to even charter the jet if Freo flops.
"Let's hope it doesn't get to that and the Dockers do make it," he laughed.
