Both the Printsync South West Slammers men and women’s sides battled through a tough double-header in round seven of the State Basketball League season.
Hosting Willetton on Friday night the ladies fell short 82-54 with Dena English (17) and Courtney Bayliss (14) top-scoring.
The men also struggled to match the Tigers going down by 30 points 104-74 in Wade Hitchcock’s 200th league game.
On Saturday the Slammers took the bus to Perth to take on Joondalup with Bayliss exploding on the court.
She sank 32 points and poached seven defensive rebounds. Sadly the side went down 105-67.
It was a similar result for the men in a 2015 grand final replay.
The Wolves proved too good once again to defeat the Slammers 115-83.
