A select group were invited to tour the new Freedom Furniture Bunbury store on Friday night on the corner of Albert Road and Strickland Street which now has a wide range of furniture and homeware products on offer.
Freedom’s managing director Tim Schaafsma said that the new store was a great milestone in the company’s story, bringing the total number of Freedom stores in Australia to 50.
“Chris and his team have put in over one year of passionate research into the franchising of a Freedom store in Bunbury,” he said.
“They want the Freedom store to connect with the community in a very real way, making a difference to the region’s people by enhancing the quality of their lives.
“We fully support their vision and are excited to welcome the Bunbury store to the Freedom family.”
One of Freedom Bunbury’s key initiatives will be a grassroots campaign to support local groups and organisations.
Customers will be able to vote for their favourite local cause or charity, with community grants handed out on a quarterly basis.
