UPDATE: WA Police are conducting further inquiries after a vehicle failed to stop on Tuesday morning.
It will be alleged a silver Holden statesman was followed by police through several Perth suburbs after the driver failed to stop.
The vehicle was monitored by air as it headed south on the Forrest Highway.
A tyre deflation device was deployed on the Forrest Highway in Australind and successfully deflated both front tyres of the statesman, bringing it to a stop.
A 21-year-old man of Safety Bay has been charged with being the driver of a vehicle that failed to comply with a direction to stop in circumstance of aggravation, driving a motor vehicle in a manner that was inherently dangerous to escape pursuit and driving a motor vehicle otherwise in conformity with the subject of a learners permit.
He is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on May 25.
A 24-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property; drove, caused or permitted a vehicle with a forged, replica or false plate to be driven on a road; used an unlicensed vehicle on a road; having no authority to drive; employed or permitted an unlicensed or unauthorised person to drive a motor vehicle; and reckless driving which was dangerous to the public or any person.
He is due to appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on May 5.
