Bunbury residents are being encouraged to nominate a community group or family in need of a quality dryer, with worthy recipients being granted a new machine through The Good Guys’ Dryers for Communities initiative.
Bunbury store general manager Alan Roche said it might be a kindergarten, an aged care facility, an animal shelter or a family.
“During the colder months it is hard to wash and dry clothes and linen without a dryer, so we encourage members of our community to submit a deserving recipient to receive a brand new dryer,” he said.
“We’re always looking to support people in need and organisations that make a difference in the community this winter we’re ensuring they have the equipment to provide dry, clean clothes and linen.”
In addition to the Dryers for Communities program, The Good Guys will double its donation to Orange Sky Laundry.
