Two men charged in relation to a bungled ram raid of a Greenfields business earlier this year faced court on Friday.
Patrick James Fisher, 49, and his son Shane Fisher, 29, were not required to plead in Mandurah Magistrates Court to charges of grievous bodily harm.
The men were charged following an investigation into an incident in Greenfields on Sunday, April 3.
About 7.20pm a stolen Isuzu utility was used to force entry to a business premises on Rouse Road, Greenfields.
A number of items were loaded into a trailer attached to the utility.
During the incident a 38-year-old man linked to the Isuzu was detained by the father and son.
Police are alleging the two men used excessive force to detain him, causing him to receive serious injuries which required medical treatment in hospital.
The man alleged to have broken into the business has also been charged and will face court at a later date.
The Fishers were remanded for six weeks to consider their plea.
They will face court again on August 12.
