Perth detectives have charged a 34-year-old Beechboro man who allegedly pulled a knife on a 90-year-old woman before robbing her car.
Police spokeswoman Sarah Dyer said the man approached the victim as she sat inside her vehicle in her driveway in Wembley on Tuesday and demanded her car.
It's claimed he then produced a knife and threatened the pensioner before grabbing hold of her arm and removing her from the vehicle and driving off.
The man has been charged with aggravated armed robbery, as well as obstructing public officers, possession of methylamphetamine, heroin, and cannabis.
The woman's vehicle is still missing and the public's assistance has been requested to help in this matter.
Anyone who spots a 2010 blue Hyundai Getz (registration 1DIV 501) is asked to call police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The man will front the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday.
