Good Nights has teamed up with the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre to bring a massive live show with Davey Craddock, fresh off his American tour and Queensland musician Josh Rennie-Hynes.
Just in time for Good Nights Josh has released his latest album Furthermore, to positive reviews and audience reception.
Josh said he’s been busy touring the new music which he said is an expansion and truer representation of his debut record.
“I’m glad it’s finished and out there, it’s a solid record and I’m very happy with it, I don’t have many regrets if any at all with this album” he said.
Josh’s confidence in his new music is sure to set the bar high for Good Nights as he breaks out his new music live in Western Australia for the first time after his relentless string of tour dates.
“It's going to be me and a couple of acoustic guitars, I’ll do a mix of music with some of my new stuff and some older stuff,” he said.
“I’m very used to playing solo shows and it’s almost where I feel most comfortable, I really like playing house concerts and smaller gigs, I’ve heard a lot about Good Nights, so I’m feeling very keen for it.”
Audiences should come prepared for musical journey with Josh and Davey Craddock.
“The best thing about playing live shows is the connection you feel with the audience, so come open for a journey,” Josh said.
Davey headlined the inaugural Good Nights gig in August 2015, and has been incredibly supportive of the music series ever since.
“As a songwriter Good Nights is fantastic because it’s an environment where you can play ‘storytelling’ type songs and you know people will actually listen rather than chatting with their mates at the bar,” said Davey.
“It’s a great format and one that really helps musicians connect with audiences in the South West in a meaningful way. It’s definitely my favourite gig to play down there.”
Good Nights will be on November 11 at BREC in the Cube theatre – for tickets visit bunburyentertainment.com
